Welcome to the VIP Lab. site
The Vegetation Index and Phenology (VIP) Lab. is part of
the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at
the University of Arizona. Headed by Dr. Kamel Didan,
this research Lab. is supported by a NASA
Making Earth Science Data Records for Use in Research Environments
(MEaSUREs) collaborative agreement.
The Lab. specializes in desiging and generating consistent, high quality and well characterized
Climate Data Record (CDR)
and Earth Science Data Record (ESDR)
long term multi-satellite data products in support of global change studies.
