Vegetation Phenology and Vegetation Index Products from Multiple Long Term Satellite Data Records
Project methodolgies
We plan to use AVHRR, MODIS, VIIRS and VGT daily surface reflectance and design
sensor independent algorithms to be applied to these data sets. We plan to generate
a 30+ years of consistent climate modeling grid (CMG, 0.05 deg) resolution Earth
Science Data Record & Climate Data Record (ESDR/CDR) quality measures of Vegetation
Index and Land surface Phenology.
